We replaced the Flexible and Comfort fares and created the flexible versions of Classic, AM Plus and Premier.
These flexible fares (Classic Flex, AM Plus Flex and Premier Flex):
What flexibility attributes are included?
Important! Fares can only be combined with others of the same type when the reservation includes several sections. For example: Classic Flex with AM Plus Flex, but not Classic with AM Plus Flex.
1 Fare difference applies
2 Refund available in electronic voucher or original form of payment. In case of No Show only changes of flight will apply
3 Ticket forfeiture applies to all non-flexible fares. Contact your account executive for more information.
How to identify the branded fare?
For routes to and from Mexico, Central America, the Caribbean, Canada, South America, Europe and Asia; the branded fare may be identified by the 7th position.
¡Important! F and O classes have changed.
For routes between the United States and Mexico* the 7th position will indicate the fare family while the 6th position will indicate whether it is flexible or not. This is in alignment with the structure of our partner Delta Air Lines.
7th Position (Branded Fare)
6th Position (Flexibility)
*There are particular cases where special farebasis codes apply such as: Y9, J9F and W9 that are flexible; and Y9N which is not flexible
