We have created a new program called Media Bags that greatly improves the travel experience between the United States and Mexico for passengers in the Media and Entertainment industry.

What qualifies for Media Bags?

All the audiovisual film equipment such as cameras, lighting, and sound equipment that is typically used by Media and Entertainment companies.


What does this service consist of?

A flat rate is applied to extra bags, starting from the 3rd up to a maximum of 25 pieces, on flights between the United States and Mexico, operated by Aeromexico.

Who benefits from this service?

All Media and Entertaiment passengers who have a corporate agreement with Delta/Aeromexico and/or provide the necessary credentials to identify the client as a media or press representative.

How to use the service

  • The service must be requested by emailing at least 48 hours before the flight’s departure and must include the following information:
    • Mail subject: Account name*/Ticket Designator
    • Ticket number
    • Company or Project name
    • Passenger name
    • Contact (Telephone number)
    • Number of bags
  • *If you do not have a corporate contract, you must attach an identification or credential that validates the passenger as a representative of the press and media sector.
  • Media Bags team will call back the agency to charge the ancillary.
  • The Media Bags service will be available from 10 AM to 7 PM Central Time (CST), Monday through Saturday.

  • Does not apply to domestic flights (within Mexico) unless it is an immediate connection with a flight from/to the United States and Mexico in the same ticket.
  • The maximum quantity is 25 pieces on Aeromexico aircraft.
  • Applies only to tickets purchased in point-of-sale USA.
  • At the airport, check-in must be done at counters.
  • Subject to the aircrafts’ availability.
  • Baggage must weigh maximum 45 kgs. or 99 lbs. each. If weight allowance is exceeded, current baggage policies will apply. For more information, visit Cost Per Volume section here.
  • This ancillary is non refundable, however it is valid for 12 months from the date of issue.
  • In case of voluntary change, the agency or customer must adjust the flight ticket to the required date and then request the re-association of ancillary to the email
  • In case of any additional questions or particular case, contact your Delta and/or Aeromexico sales executive.
