Debit Memo Policies (ADMs)

Aeroméxico Agency Debit Memo Policy, in compliance with the IATA Resolution 850M and 890 of the Passenger Agency Conference Resolution Manual. All tickets issued for travel on Aeromexico must comply with the applicable contract of carriage and all applicable fare rules.

The ADM is a legitimate accounting tool for use by Aeroméxico to collect an amount or make an adjustment to the Agent transaction in respect of the issuance, re-issuance, refund and revalidation of 139 documents. Alternative uses of ADMs may also exist: an ADM could also be issued for debits that are not directly related to Traffic Documents, e.g. deposits or penalties for group sales, Global Distribution System (GDS) or booking misuse, etc.

Debit memos (ADM) will be issued in the following cases:

1. For incorrect application and non-compliance with fare regulations and footnotes published by Aeromexico

2. Debit memos (ADM) will be issued for the difference between the correct amounts and the amounts undercharged or not charged for: Fare, Taxes or Duties, Commissions, Refunds and Exchanges.

3. Non-compliance with any of the fare conditions attached to joint fares with other airlines and airlines partner joint fares.

4. Credit card chargeback

5. In the case agencies incurred in abusive practices affecting Aeromexico’s inventory, Debit memos will be issued according to the following chart

6. Other violations, which include ARC/MM billing errors, discrepancies in the form of payment, conversion rate violations, unreported sale and non-payment of sales
